House built two years ago. I'm have problems with the home. IS IT TO LATE TO GET THIS FIX BY THE BUILDER?

Most water faucets are leaking, windows not opening right, cracks in the ceiling and walls, water leaking under the doors when it rains, and etc.. Am I to late to get these problems fix by the builder, or get a lawyer?House built two years ago. I'm have problems with the home. IS IT TO LATE TO GET THIS FIX BY THE BUILDER?
If it has only just started then its not really the builders problem and if it has been like it since being built you should have got him to fix the problem then. two years is a fair while

ask him and see what he saysHouse built two years ago. I'm have problems with the home. IS IT TO LATE TO GET THIS FIX BY THE BUILDER?
It would depend on the State you live in as to how long you have to file a Complaint against the Builder. In North Carolina, it is ';1'; year after the Closing date. After that all Problems with your home falls into your hands. As far as the Cracks in your Ceilings and Walls, that sounds like the Foundation is settling and not much you can do about that. Mine is 6 years old and I have had to repair Cracks that run from my ceiling down my Walls in my Bedroom, twice already. Leaky Faucets are gonna happen, you just need to go buy New washers for the Faucets and repair them. As far as the rain blowing under your door, go to Lowes and buy the Rubber Stripping that goes all around your Door to stop the Rain from coming in; this will also save on your Electric Bill. All of the things you are describing, are ';Do It Yourself Jobs'; and not that expensive to repair. I am Single and Female and if I can do it, so can you...Welcome to the World of owning your own Home...
check your contract , most builders have sublet what your problems are about . Good Luck If all else fails call him and then get a lawyer ..
two years is pretty long for normal issues. if the problems suggest a serious problem with the construction methods, its not too late to look to have that addressed. in short, small stuff its probably too late for, but something that never should have been built that way its still something you could expect to win in court if it came to that.
Two years is a long time. They builder will say the house settled and that is the problem. You can talk to ta lawyer, but he may tell you the same thing. If the damage is severe enough, the lawyer may be able to get the builders to do something, but I wouldn't count on it after two years. Sorry.
most likely you will lose in court, builder gave you 13 months to find all this... you could write a nice letter requesting this %26amp; see if they will do a freebee
It really is best to talk with a lawyer and find out what can be done.

If there is nothing that can be done, look in the yellow pages of your telephone book and get an inspector to come out and give you an estimate at how much it is going to cost to get all these things repaired. He will not be doing the repairs so it is okay to trust his judgement. You might be surprised that it is not going to be a costly as you think.
