What is the cost of a new heating system for a house built in 1910?

I'm considering buying a 750 sq ft investment property built in 1910. It has gravity heating (holes in the floors). I would like forced hot air but am looking for the least expensive way to bring it up to code. How much can I expect to pay? How do I find a reputable plumber/heating person? What is the cost of a new heating system for a house built in 1910?
Unless there is something majorly wrong with the old furnace, it should still be fine. The house next to mine has a gravity furnace and still meets code. It was installed in the 1920s.

Besides the cost of the furnace and ductwork, you will also have to

reline the flue

replace main gas line and feeder to the furnace

If you are adding AC, then you might need to replace the electrical system.

Have a qualified home inspector look at the HVAC and electrical system to see of it's up to code and what has to be done. Check with other landlords in the area to see who they use for HVAC
