Who was that weird old lady who believed in ghosts and had a house built in San Francisco?

They said she died because she stopped working on the house.Who was that weird old lady who believed in ghosts and had a house built in San Francisco?
The Winchester Mystery House, and it's in San Jose, not San Francisco. It is an interesting story though.Who was that weird old lady who believed in ghosts and had a house built in San Francisco?
The woman was Sarah Winchester. Her husband was the second president of the Winchester Repeating Arms company. After her husband died, a medium told her that she was responsible for all the spirits killed by the Winchester rifle. She was told that she needed to construct a house out west for all of those spirits and if work ever stopped on the house, she would die. She didn't die because she stopped working on the house. Work on the house stopped because she died. The house is known today as the Winchester Mystery House because it's big and poorly designed, making it into one big maze. It's also supposedly haunted. It's a really fun place to visit.
Winchester, Her husband was from the Winchester family they had a gun company. She thought she was being haunted by the ghost of everyone that was killed by one of those guns. She kept building to confuse the spirits I think she died then the building stopped.. I would love to go there and see it for myself! I have heard it is amazing. If you google it or go to ghost hunters.com you should be able to find some cool stuff about the house.
