How can i get a $500grand house built by extreme makeover home edition? whining, turning on the waterworks?

It seems that whenever this network puts out the info that they can build a new house for someone, alot of worms come out of the woodwork, and when it is there to build it they lie thru their teeth and whimper how THEY should be the deserving ones, when are thousands of poorer more deserving persons that are suffering but not helped, its all about raitings, a crock of sh**t.How can i get a $500grand house built by extreme makeover home edition? whining, turning on the waterworks?
WOW, I think you are WAY off the mark.

I have watched that show many times and one reason is because of HOW DESERVING those people were.

Many of them were spending ALL their money and time doing good works for OTHER PEOPLE.

From the tone of your question I can guess you don't have a chance.

They built a home for a Pastor that had his home and another building full of homeless people he was helping to get back on their feet. They also held prayer meetings in his rundown home all the time.

They built a home, a whole new ranch really, for a woman that did ';horse riding therapy'; for disabled children.

They built a home for a policewomen that was shot in the line of duty, losing her job, and left her paralyzed. She was shot saving somebody else's life during a robbery.

They built a home for a single man that took in his four orphaned nephews in to his small house when his sister and BIL were murdered on the streets in random violence.

They built a home for a woman in Hawaii that spent all her money and time on a program for jailed women on work release to be able to meet with their children. They rebuilt the meeting place too. Without that place the system wouldn't allow the women to see their children. It helped both the women and the children.

They built a home for one of our disabled soldiers that lost both his legs in an IED explosion in Iraq and whose home was very difficult for him.

They have built many homes for families that had children with special needs. A number of them that cancer and needed a very clean environment. And most most of those families had spent EVERY dime on the child and that is WITH insurance paying it at first.

They built a home for a firefighter that was injured and could no longer work because he got injured protecting US.

They built a home for another firefighter's family after he was killed after rescuing several other people. They lived, he didn't.

They built a home in my area for a single mom whose husband had died. She was trying to support herself with a swimming program and therapy for physically or mentally disabled children because she had a small pool in your back yard. Her 80 yr old house was falling down and she had braces around the house to keep the ceiling up.

They built a home for young girl that had a rare disease that they called ';an allergy to the sun'; so that ANY direct sunlight would give her burns. She spent most of her time in a small room with the windows covered but wrote children books and ran a book lending program for other children.

They built a home for a girl with cancer that had a bone marrow transplant and needed a fairly germ free environment. She started a business making beaded bracelets that she sold and donated all the money to the children's cancer ward at the hospital so the children could have nicer things while they were there. I think she was 11 yr old.

They built a home for a woman that outside of working spent all her money and time on providing business attire for homeless women so they would have a better chance at getting a job. She ran that out of her living room and garage. Both were totally full of the clothing with little room for herself.

They built a home for woman that lost her husband and her son was very ill. They found toxic mold in her home and that is what had killed him (with his other medical problems) and made her son sick. Because of her husband's other medical problems they couldn't get insurance and many homeowner's insurance don't cover mold. They had to leave the house and never go back, giving up everything they had because it was contaminated. She and her two kids were living in a single room with relatives.

They built a home for an EMT who was racing with a dying man to the hospital when an unattentive driver missed the lights and siren and T-boned the emergency vehicle. The man lived but he was paralyzed.

I could go on. Those are just off the top of my head.

And FWIW if you watch the beginning it is often OTHER people that contact the show to tell them how deserving these people are of the help.

How many will tell them how much you are selflessly doing for you community?

So how have YOU dedicated YOUR LIFE to the betterment of mankind that makes YOU so deserving???????

And you have the nerve to say they are whiners and you cuss at them?

Shame on you.How can i get a $500grand house built by extreme makeover home edition? whining, turning on the waterworks?
Well, it is a TV show after all, not a charitable foundation, and they obviously can't help every single deserving person there is. Stop whining. Getting a house built by the show is like winning the lottery--if it happens to you, great, but complaining that it didn't happen to you does no good at all.
be glad there is a show that helpsdown an out people.smile and dont be jealous. as long as my bills are paid im aheadof the game.quit being a give me give ME person and try working for it. and then you can fill your crock with reality instead of dreaming
