A simple house building program?

i am looking to build a fort for my son and his friends. I don't want to just jump into this and go by intuition, i want this fort to be water proof and complete with a floor and roof. I want to know if there are any programs that allow you to put in the dimensions of every part of the building and maybe even what it would be made of so you could estimate price.A simple house building program?
Here is a site with some building software.A simple house building program?
For what you are wanting to do, drawing it out with pencil and paper will be the best way. There are CAD programs that do what you want to do, but they cost anywhere from $50 to $1,000's and take a while to learn. Lowe's and Home Depot and a company down here in my part of the country named Tuff shed all have small storage sheds that could easily be converted into what you want.

If you want to go the Cad route just google ''cad programs'; and start looking.
You're describing AutoCad, but it's neither simple or cheap.

By the time you bought it and learned how to use it, you'd save

time %26amp; money by drawing detailed plans on graph paper

and measuring and computing the board lengths,

and sheet areas by hand.
