A union electrician will be assisting me, I just want to make sure the project isn't to difficult. Due to the age of the house. How hard is it to install recessed lighting in a house built in 1941?
It depends on whether there is a second floor or not. The house probably has plaster walls. Cutting the opening for the light(s) will be simple enough but running the wire will be difficult if there is a floor above you. That means in order to run the wire you may have to cut some holes in the ceiling and walls to fish the wire along. It may even require you having to cut a notch the length of the wire. Feel free to contract me through my profile. I have some questions of my own I would have to ask before I elaborated any further. How hard is it to install recessed lighting in a house built in 1941?
