What is the house built on top of a small skyscraper in Boston Mass?

I remember what you are talking about, but I just spent a few minutes on Google Earth trying to find it. It's a penthouse built on half the top of a building with the other half being landscaping. It's going to drive me nuts now. Keep this up a few more days and I'll walk over there.

Added: the one I was thinking about is 265 Columbus, which backs up on Stanhope street. Best seen from behind the Back Bay Station: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q%26amp;source=s鈥?/a>

Thanks, PennyLe!! That is it! Quite interesting, I thought. I would love to go there and see it inside and out!

Thanks again,

I'm not real sure what you mean. Can you provide any further information?

Sorry but I'm stumped on this one...

There's a building behind the Radisson (between Broadway and Charles St. with Pigalle's restaurant in it) with a roof garden on it. If you were looking towards the turnpike it would be on your left (east) and partially obscured by the Radisson. Is that the one?
It was probably just some really wealthy person who put a garden on the roof of their building. There are some amazing properties in that area.
