The oval office is not in the main White House building, is it a disappointment?

The oval office is in the west wing, not the main White House building.

The oval office is still cool, but it would've been more cool if it was located in the actual White House-building.The oval office is not in the main White House building, is it a disappointment?
Sorry you're disappointed. The oval office is not in the main White House building, is it a disappointment?
The 'West Wing' is the western side of the building. It's all one building.

What I find disappointing is the fact that in about 1920, the White House was completely gutted. Nothing was left standing other than the four exterior walls. The interior was then rebuilt on an entirely new floor plan to accomodate modern systems..for the time. What this means is that there is no 'Lincoln bedroom' where Lincoln slept. There are NONE of the original rooms. Not one. Not a single room in the White House is more than about 80 years old.
Actually RitchWilliams you are a little off. Beginning in 1948 under Truman the interior of the WH was dismantled because it was found that load bearing exterior walls and interior beams were on the verge of failure. A new steel framework was installed and the interior was reassembled virtually unchanged.
The Oval Office IS part of the White House - there are different wings that make up the White House, but it's still the same building structure - not disappointed either way!
I think you've got it backwards. The oval office is where all the exciting stuff happens; so the Residence would be cooler if it held the Oval office!
Yeah hopefully they didnt finish building it yet, you should letem know ;D
It is all connected - east wing, west wing. It is all one building.
I'm not disappointed. It doesn't matter to me where the Oval Office is, just as long as the President has a place to work.
You meant the ';Oral'; Office....tks to Billy Clinton.
